You were
the first one.

It is time to stop paying for it.

First in your family to get here. First to build this. First to sit in rooms nobody who looked like you had sat in before. And the silence that kept you safe on the way up is now the ceiling you cannot break through.

you know this feeling

She knows exactly
what to say.

She says nothing.

  • You replay the meeting on the drive home, rewording everything you should have said.

  • You take on more because asking for help feels harder than just doing it yourself.

  • You manage everyone's reaction before you have even opened your mouth.

  • You have been the responsible one since before you were old enough to have a choice about it.

  • You are not burned out from working too hard. You are burned out from the weight of everything you have been swallowing.

  • You are ready for a different way.

The burnout is not the problem. The silence is. And the silence has a solution, but it starts somewhere most coaching never goes.

the gap strategy can’t close

You already know
what to do.

You already know the strategic moves that shift leadership: the negotiation, the decision, the recalibration of scope, the moment you choose direction instead of managing the room.

Your challenge isn't knowing what to do.

It's the micro-moment before action, when familiar patterns quietly take the lead.

Stepping in without pause. Softening instead of naming. Accommodating because it's always worked. Accepting less because stability once depended on it.

This isn't a strategy problem. It's how leadership has been held.

The relational reflexes, the nervous system responses that once made you effective and dependable are limiting what's possible at your next level.

This is where nervous system and identity work come in, addressing the reflex before it becomes the decision.

the SHIFT

From being needed
to being valued.

When leadership runs on being needed

  • Worth is reinforced through repetition

  • Accommodation happens by default

  • Effort maintains stability

When leadership runs on being valued

  • Value is stated and received

  • Decisions come from alignment, not obligation

  • Responsibility is shared appropriately

You cannot expect valued outcomes while operating from what once made you indispensable.

This shift requires working at the nervous system and identity level; the physiological foundation that every other change depends on. That is where the pattern changes. Not through willpower. Through rebuilding the system underneath it.

WORK WITH MIRYAM

my client’s story

She came in as a director who loved her work and had almost nothing left outside of it. She had burned out multiple times and pushed through each one, convinced she needed better systems. She had done the therapy, the coaching, the leadership development, and was still running on the same operating system.

We did not start with strategy. We started with her nervous system. We dismantled the burnout. Then we built the capacity to hold what she actually wanted to create.

She pivoted into a new role. She is paid well and recognized for her expertise. She travels. She has her health back, her sleep back, her relationships back. She is building and her system can hold it now.

About miryam

I burned out three times
before I understood

what was actually happening.

I am a first-generation Latina, immigrant, and Speaking Anxiety & Burnout Leadership Coach. I work with Latina and WOC leaders and founders who are ready to overcome speaking anxiety, command the room, and scale their income without burning out.

I had done the therapy, the coaching, the leadership development. I was still operating from the same system, the one built for survival, just in different containers. It took losing my grandmother, a miscarriage, and the complete collapse of the operating system I had been running for decades before I finally stopped.

The rebuild changed everything. It wasn’t about finding better strategies. I worked at the level that everything else depends on.

That is the work I do now. For the first ones.
